    Hi Remi

In speaking with our Product Manager of BluOS Development, Soundcloud has not provided any updates to us on this matter, and in fact has not accepted any new third party partnerships since their financial restructuring.

We do hope they will begin adding more partners to their great service. Until then; www.bluesound.com/bluetooth or if you have a 2i Player and an iPhone user, you can also use AirPlay.

    Dear Tony,

thank you for your swift reply.

I sent a question to soundcloud with the message that you wrote, so the ball is with them ;)

I really hope that this will be fixed in the near future.

    Best regards,

    Remi

    Hello,

i fully agree. I like my Bluesound devices, its sound quality, design and its Tidal and RP integration.

However i miss also the Soundcloud integration (as a daily user) every day ...

Would be great if this topic could be pushed!

    Thank you!

    Kind regards from Germany

    Robert

https://support1.bluesound.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/208704968 - please let Soundcloud know your concerns that their service is not available in Bluesound. In the meantime, you can use AptX HD Bluetooth or AirPlay if you have a 2i Player. (AptX if you are only on Gen2).

Thank you Tony. I already use it over Bluetooth for years already ...however i'd like to use it without my smartphone connected all the time like i do with my Tidal or RP account.

    Hello Tony,

I feel upset. I bought a MDC 2 module in combination with the NAD 368 to play music from networkplayers as Spotify, Soundcloud, Tidal, you name it. Now I ended up with a MDC that doesnot support Soundcloud and (as an alternative) can't synchronize with Apple TV (because its not 2.1 'ready'). The suggestion to use Bluetooth makes me mad. Its not stable and gets interupted if anything else happens on the playing divice. Thats not where I bought a € 500,00 system for. I payed to have good connection with network players. Heos can do it, Sonos can do it. I thought i bought a proper brand that provides quality services.

How can I reach out to speak with anyone from MDC or NAD about my problem?

    Hope to hear from u,

    Jan

As someone who is evaluating moving from Sonos to Bluesound, this is quite the bummer and a blocker. I use Soundcloud more than any other service (and even pay for it).

Any news on this? As with Audible, this is a service that a lot of the competitors to Bluesound offer. The Bluetooth workaround isn’t comparable with proper integration.

The Wiim pro has now support for SoundCloud and Chromecast audio… proper support for common services please.

    Bump

Really annoying having that big list of services in the app but not SoundCloud?

Yes. Something We All are waiting for. Using Bluetooth connection via mobile Phone is just workaround and Not very convenient or good for Audio quality

I been wondering why Sonos can, but Bluesound cant. They have alot of similar streaming and using the phone just to control not stream.

The best solution is to have a speaker system that can stream and be controlled.

Sonos knows what they are doing. Even apple can be streamed like spotify can on bluesound.

I change over from sonos to Bluesound on alot of speakers and system, better sound. But Sonos is morr userfriendly and usable.

Still have sonos system in my garage, and love that I can just leave it playing without my phone.

Really hope for the soundcloud which I use alot.

    Please fix

    Dear Tony or colleague,

can you give us an update about the Soundcloud integration?

I think that countless Bluesound users would want this option, and furthermore I often tell people that want to buy your products that they have to think twice if they are Soundcloud users. A lot of them decide to not buy Bluesound products as soon as they hear that Soundcloud is not supported.

My opinion is that for high end products such as Bluesound, integration of such a massive streaming service as Soundcloud is fitting in your repertoire.

I know of the bluetooth option, but that is not working well if you wander through you house, as you would surely understand.

    Thank you in advance
    Remi

I think there is no any future. Today I am selling my bluesound node 2i and buying wiim pro plus.

    Good luck

Wiim pro plus is a good idea. The lack of support drives me crazy.

Customer support and orientation is pretty poor at bluesound. I regret have bought the blueos module for my nad 368.

Thanks for your feedback. As mentioned above, any Music Service Integration is a partnership and requires agreements in place. Let Soundcloud also know your desire to hear their service on BluOS as well.

That being said, we continue to speak with them letting them know their listeners want to use BluOS to do so. Your voice is sometimes actually louder than ours in these cases.

Can we get an estimate on the cost to include SoundCloud? Starting a funding campaign to realize this is a louder voice than this thread imo ..

If only it was that simple...

@Tony: This sounds like an attempt to delegate substantive project management tasks to customers. I don't want to spend my time on writing emails to Amazon and Soundcloud that may bever ever see someone who cares. If you need more evidence of the demand, do a survey among registered customers and take that to different service providers to convince them.

Situation is quite simple for me ;) Soundcloud wants money and the BluOS community is too small to be on a good bargaining position. However I sent them an email asking for BluOS support :D

Does anyone have a good replacement for the Node streamer from approximately same price category, as the soundcloud integration problem is present for years and years. No updates whatsoever, so I'm thinking of switching to another HiFi streamer company. Preferably a company with separate stand-alone speakers such as the Flex. I was thinking B&W with the Formation line. Any other ideas?

My next buy won’t be bluesound. WiimPro I guess
