Could you make a group in playerlist as pull-out entry?

This belongs not only for Crestron Controller, could you change the way a group is displayed within the playerlist. If players are grouped there should be a pull-out entry for these groups so only the group entry is shown. By pressing a button all the players within the group will appear like now.

That would make the playerlist on smartphones smaller and easier to use, in my opinion. And also easier to control the group volume. Sometimes i want to control the group volume but accidently press the volume of one player in the group.

I believe that's the way most similar systems do it, btw.

  Thanks for the feedback. It depends. I can't speak for Crestron, Control 4 or other 3rd party Apps as we like to respect their design.

  In our design, we kind of do that in The BluOS App. Fixed Group Players are virtual single players from many so only appear as a Single Player. You have to drill into it for details.

  In our recent update, you will notice we have made some design changes to the Player drawer to better communicate the types of things you are asking for.

  ahh, OK I recognized that it's here but not with a button for pull-out you have to select another player. hmm...

  Could that be also possible with pressing the selected group again? so selecting the group will have a toggle for pulling out the grouped players or minimize them.

  thanks, like mentioned later I recognized that. I believe it would be great to have the possibility to toggle the group details oben und closed by pressing the group within the playerslist. At the moment you need to select another player to get the group minimized. But maybe you still want to control the group.

  If you can press the group within playerlist again to minimize the group details, you still have the group selected.
