Firmware update fails OTA on Soundbar 2i

My Soundbar 2i can't do a OTA update of the firmware.

In the beginning I thought it was a bug in the firmwares, and didn't make a notice of it. But the latest update (3.6.6) made me think of which updates I have had trouble with.

All of these firmwares I have been unable to update via OTA.

• 3.6.6
• 3.6.3
• 3.4.23 

The soundbar is simply standing in upgrade mode (solid red). My network does work 100% as I haven't encountered other problems. I have done the upgrades in the evening, having the player to update itself throughout the night. The next morning, I was force to do the update manually via USB stick.

Is the soundbar suffering from a internal fault and will need replacement?

  The issues you are seeing are networking related and not the SOUNDBAR. If you can, (and I realise this is not easy with a SOUNDBAR), plug a LAN cable into the back, unplug the player for 5 seconds and then plug it back in. In the meantime, I am escalating your issue to our Support Crew to help troubleshoot your router for a long term solution. I suspect they will recommend making a DHCP reservation in your router for the SOUNDBAR.
