Is the optical Toslink out bypassing the DAC of the node for a bit prefect pass through?

Or do I have to alter some settings?

I want to use my external DAC (Marantz HD DA1) through Marantz PM8005 analog Amp to Bowers & Wilkins 707 s2. Shared my setup because the Node seems to give an unusual low volume output. Is this normal or is there a problem withe the Node? Didnt have any problems with PC volume through the DAC

  Hi Sander

  In the Audio Settings, set your NODE to Fixed Output and let your amplifier control the volume.
