Analog volume control/attenuator
BeantwortetI listen at pretty low levels. The volume slider during normal playback is just a few ticks up from the bottom. I should mention this is using an external dac connected via coax.
Is it recommended to use an analog volume after the dac (before power amp) so that I could keep the nodes volume in the 80-100% range for best digital volume without truncating the digital signal?

Hello Lucas,
What I would suggest is to try both ways to see what sounds best with your particular sound system. With that being said, one suggestion I can make is if you continue with the setup you currently have configured, you can adjust the volume limits of your player to allow you some additional fidelity with the volume slider within this low volume range. To do this go to Settings > Player > Audio and from here you can bring down the maximum volume output of your player to remain within the tolerable range for your sound system.
