bluesound node n100 issues
BeantwortetI just bought a second hand Bluesound node n100 and unfortunately experience what seems like boot issues with it.
When first connected to power, without wired network, the LED stayed solid red. From the manual i understood that this means in upgrade mode or boot/ disk error.
It could not be connected to my wireless network, because that is password protected. There was no way to connect to the node, so i then connected it to my router directly with a wired cable and plugged in the power again. Again the LED stayed solid red.
Then i decided to perform a factory reset ( you never know what customization the previous owner has done that might cause this issue ).
I followed the factory reset procedure as described in the manual for the N100. I pushed the button and then connected power. The LED went green for a second, then solid red. After about 30 seconds it started flashing red, which as i understand is factory reset mode.
I have left it flashing red for about 20 minutes. It didnt exit the factory reset mode.
I then decided to try another factory reset, but now when following the same reset procedure, the LED is red for a second and then is solid green. It does not start flashing red, doesnt matter how long i keep the button pushed. The node is connected to my router with a network cable, but undiscoverable from the bluos app. Also my connected devices list of my router does not show the node connected. It seems it has not booted.
Does anyone know how i can get the node working?

The issue you are seeing suggests there is more going on here as the original Bluesound Node should work fine unless the memory has failed. We will be in touch via e-mail to take a closer look as I have escalated your request to our Support Crew.

Had to take mine to the reseller. It cost me.

In my case it was $80. But it was in Denmark. US prices might be different.
