Speaker groups
BeantwortetHello, I'm looking to purchase a node 2i and have a few questions before I purchase.
I'm going to have 7 paradigm speakers hooked up to my av receiver. One 5.1 zone for home theatre, and another 2 speakers as zone 2.
Can I do the following, hook up a node 2i to my av receiver, and have music play in either my zone 1, 5.1 setup, or my zone 2 setup, or both zones at the same time?
Is this possible with one node 2i?

HI Matt
That depends on your AV Receiver. The NODE 2i is just like an other source such as a blu-ray player or turntable in the scenario you suggested.

I'm still looking to purchase a new receiver as well. If my receiver can do multiple zones would I be able to accomplish what I'm describing with the bluesound

Have you considered an NAD T758 in the main room and a POWERNODE in what is currently the secondary (zone 2) space...
Check out www.bluesound.com/stores to locate a dealer near you to dive into multi-room rather than dip your toe water...

Thanks, was hoping to accomplish what I want with a single player however it might not seem possible. I was at one dealer already, I like reading and doing the research alot online.
