Content played from BluOS controller not showing up in Tidal recently played
BeantwortetI found some music I liked last night while poking around Tidal via the BluOS controller on Android.
Now I'm at work running the Tidal desktop client and want to play the same stuff again, but it isn't showing any of the Tidal content I played via the BlueOS controller last night.
Is the Tidal content played via the Android BluOS controller synced back to our actual Tidal accounts?

Hi Josh
Sorry for the delay, we wanted to figure out what was happening here. It appears that the 'recently played' options in your TIDAL App are stored in the TIDAL App itself and not associated to your TIDAL Account. As result, we cannot pull this info into our App.
Speak with TIDAL about the possibility of updating their API to include this information so third party devices like ours can pull it.
Our contacts here will also bring it up - it helps if this information comes from both sides though.

Interesting, thanks for checking on it and letting me know what's going on.
I highly doubt my feedback will have as much weight as yours, but I'll shoot them a feature request too.

I am working through a ticket with Tidal on another issue and mentioned this to them. Since using the actual Tidal app in diagnosing my freezing issues (which appear to be common to both BluOS and tidal apps, hence Tidal's side of things) I can see how much better it is to use on Tidal rather than BlueOS. But unlike Spotify, you can't seem to use the Bluesound gear as an endpoint from the Tidal app.
On BluOS the experience is 100% "static" in that you get exactly the same thing every time you open it, and I struggle to find anything worth listening to among all the 'new release' dross and so-called R&B junk (with apologies to JayZ). On the Tidal app I immediately stumbled upon several albums both old and new that were of interest to me, this never happens on BluOS. If you know what you're looking for you can search for it, but that is not a good way to find stuff when there is so much out there.
The same happens on the local library too, it's the same every time. A randomise order suggestion has been in for years now, but no sign of it yet. I hope it can be improved so as to present you with different content both locally and on the partner services.

Hi Stelvio
As mentioned it really is up to TIDAL to implement an API to update this.
The Local Library 'New' Feature will highlight the latest items added to your Library but understand if you aren't adding to it, this appears to be static...

Well I did my bit and requested it of them as you suggested. :)
"Recently Played" for the library please, and the random sort option for albums and artists while you're at it. :D
