Continued Problems with Spotify Connect
BeantwortetI have been using Spotify Premium more or less successfully for the last 6 months or so. Within the last couple of weeks the service will play a song for several seconds, stop, resume playing for several seconds, stop and repeat this over and over. The controls in the OS become unresponsive. I can't stop or start a song. Players in the OS will appear and disappear, and often show up duplicated. The only thing I can do is turn the volume down completely until it cycles through. So at this point I am unable to use my main source of music on Bluesound.
TuneIn radio works fine. I have re-installed Spotify and BluOs with no success.
I am using an iPad mini as the controller. I have a Soundbar, Plus Mini, and Pulse Flex 2i. The Flex was added about a month ago with no issues at the time. My wifi signal ranges from Good to Excellent.
Any help anyone can provide would be appreciated. At the moment I own a very expensive radio.

Occasionally, when my iPhone 8 plays Spotify via Spotify connect and I swipe up to the 'controlcenter' to skip to a next song it loses the connection.
This happens mostly when the connection is already established and running for some time.
It's a minor thing but if these minor flaws would disappear it would greatly improve the overall user experience.
Shall I send a log file next time this happens?

I am also between spotify and bluesound. Both blame each other and it's still not solved. I have very exspendive boxes and a spotify family account which I all cannot use anymore. We will look for a replacement of bluesound as after 6 months there is still no sollution

Hi, I have problem that Spotify start playing by itself on our speakers. Starts were it was stopped several ago. Happens selldom bit no fun if it's in the middle of the night.

I got the same problems with spotify connect.
i've tried everything i read her but nothing worked.
Even my RPi is working better than this.
Glandly i can sent my Powernode 2i back to the seller.

I HAVE THE SAME ISSUES WITH SPOTIFY CONNECT. BOUGHT TWO NODES AND TWO FLEX SPEAKERS. SPEND EUR 1500. EVERY TIME UPDATE OF SOFTWARE CAUSES SPOTIFY TO FREQUENTLY COLLAPSE. MY SYSTEM IS FULLY WIRED. I WAS EXTREMELY HAPPY ABOUT THE SOUND OF BLUESOUND, BUT THIS FREQUENT COLLAPSING IS AWEFUL.
BLUESOUND: PLEASE GET THIS RIGHT IN YOUR APP AND SOFTWARE ASAP!!

i've got the same kind of problems.. my bs speakers are not showing as spotify-connect speakers.. tried everything as said but still no joy! in addition is airplay also not reliable and stable..
please fix this!

I was just about to buy one of these, so really disappointed to read of these issues. I don’t want to buy anything unless it works pretty much out of the box. Would be good to know when these issues are resolved and the Usability of your app improves (I’ll mainly stream from my iPhone and Spotify) and I’ll buy one. Thx

There's nothing wrong with the app, but frankly if you're only streaming Spotify you'd be wasting your money on the Node. There are much cheaper options for mp3 quality.
