I have tried endlessly to get my Pioneer SE-MS7BT to connect to my Node 2i. The headphones are Bluetooth 3.0, is this compatible with the Node 2? They connect to 3 different iPhones with no problem. In the BluOS app when attempting to pair, it shows what appears to be a MAC address when trying to connect instead of the SE-MS7BT that appears when connecting to an iPhone. I submitted a help ticket about a week ago via the support page but still haven't had a response. One of the main reasons I purchased the Node was so I could use BT headphones.

I have a pair of Bose qc 35 II that worked for about a month and now cannot be found by my 2i.

They continue to work perfectly with my phone.

    Tried resetting to default

Disconnected from power for an hour and retried - nothing

I have a pair of APTx compatible Sony MDR-1000x headphones.  Not only does my Node 2i refuse to pair with them, when I attempt it the Node 2i drops off of Wi-Fi after several seconds and does not come back online.  My only recourse is to unplug it and plug it back in which brings it back online.  This has happened several times.  Very repeatable.  Any help out there?  Thanks.

I too was annoyed to see my Beoplay headphones labelled with what appears to be a Mac address, instead of the friendly name that other applications show.

Another issue for me is that if I want to use wireless headphones with a system that has grouped multi-room speakers, apparently I must first ungroup them before the headphone option shows up.  This is cumbersome.

    Hi Tom

After upgrading to 3.4.3 on my iMac, BluOS Controller will no longer open. It starts, but then just displays the splash screen with 24-BIT HI-RES MUSIC. IN EVERY ROOM WIRELESSLY then just stays there and does not progress any further. It work in IOS on my iPhone 7 and I can now pair my Pioneer BT headphones.

The iMac is running OSX 10.13.6

Please uninstall the App by dragging it to the Trash and emptying the trash. please download a new version from www.bluesound.com/downloads and install that version.

After many attempts, I finally got my B&O H7 phones to pair with the Node 2i.

    The procedure that worked?

First initiate pairing on the headphone side, *before* opening the Bluesound desktop application.

Then open the application and click on the 3 dots that bring up the Bluetooth Headphone pairing procedure in the application.

The application will show at least 1 (possibly multiple) MAC addresses (not the friendly name of the headphones).

Guess which one represents your headphones, or click on all of them, and you might get lucky.

Same with my Bowser & wilkins. It send the signal to the speakers in the living room when I put on my headphone. When I put it down is pauses the music. Exactly what is should do with my headphones. Help

    Hi Eric

This sounds right - many headphones are designed that when you remove them or change their status, they disable Bluetooth to pause the music. If this is not your desired outcome, please check your headphone documentation is they can alter that.

Both in the desktop Bluesound app and in the Android Bluesound app, my headphones are NEVER found. After I follow your three steps, nothing happens except for the system searching for my Bowers & Wilkins PX Headphones. This is so disappointing. What am I doing wrong here?

The same thing happens with my Denon AH-GC20.
They pair with the Node 2i but refuse to play.
Tried countless attempts. Until I read Tom K's post over here.
Had to put the headphones in pairing mode before I opened BlueOs Controller. Then they were properly paired and playing

I tried everything until I randomly placed my QC35i next to my iPhone while trying to pair wireless headphones in the BluOS app - and it discovered my QC35i! Doesn’t make sense that it should be that physically close, but it works.

It turns that for my P&W PX headphones, I can do the pairing if I go to the P&W app and reinitialize the headphones. Then the node sees them fine....

I can seem to pair my Sony WH-1000XM3 headphone. I can even get the "Bluetooth" in the play menu and get tunes to play in Bluetooth mode but I get no sound in the headphones. I've tried putting my headphone in pair mode before I start the BluOs app to no avail. When I go to Player->Bluetooth headphones I can see the entry in the Devices list. When I pick the entry it says it's connecting but it doesn't seem to connect.

    Hi Mark

I would unpair and forget the headphones in the App and with any other devices you might have them connected to - I would then factory reset the headphones. Set them up as new. If the problems persist, please contact the headphone manufacturer.

I managed to get my headsets connected this morning by accessing my Node 2i directly by entering the IP address in a web browser, unparing and forgeting them and then pairing/connecting there. I did not find it necessary to factory reset my headsets.
