Stream hijacking by bluesound
Since months the powernode plays TuneIn ads when I’m starting a stream. The stream is powered by an online radio without advertising. And this behavior is teally annoying. I contacted the support, but they don’t want to help. They say, this is a service by TuneIn that I have to tolerate. But there is no service I am using by TuneIn. My player is using a stream I pay for. I do not need TuneIn to play a stream from the internet. In my opinion this is a ridiculous stupid answer. Is this the new business by bluesound? Getting payed for ads? Hijacking internet streams to earn money? A few months ago bluesound was okay, the hardware is very good, the software medium solid programmed but overall okay. And now? Sonos did a move like this and got a bloody nose by the users!

I'm not convinced Bluesound has anything to do with this. It seems to be a rather new development that radio stations on the internet start a stream with some (or more) ads. Our national broadcaster in Belgium started doing this some months ago. Each and every time I start a stream on a laptop or desktop directly from the website, I get a (luckily) short bumper. So, no link with Bluesound or even TuneIn. Nothing is free in this world (apart from Linux) and we all contribute by listening to their silly ads as the good peasants we are.
