disable playlist

Hi,
How do I disable playlists. Somehow every song or album I select gets automatically added to a playlist.
I have no idea which playlist though. I see a couple of playlist which do not contain the songs or albums I selected. Also there is also no option to delete the existing playlists.
But bottom line is: I DO NOT want playlists. I just want to listen to a song or album from my library. This started after the latest update of the Android app.
If the solution would be to troll back to the previous version I would very much like to hear how to do so because the latetst update also cause problems to sync on HDMI. Thanks

  But the way: obviously I have the option "add to playlist" switched off
