TuneIn favourites missing again after updating to 4.12.0
BeantwortetI posted about this a year ago in relation to FW 4.2.6
Having just updated to the Android app 4.12.0 and Node FW 4.12.4 the same thing has happened again. Opening the Favourites screen from the star icon at the bottom of the app just showed a completely blank page for TuneIn. Clicking on the Favourites button in the TuneIn icon under "Most Used" on the home screen also showed a completely blank page. But when I clicked on "Browse" in the same icon, it appears that the TuneIn menu has changed, with new icons.
But as before, I got all my existing favourite stations back by adding a dummy URL as a Custom Station. I added "http://null.com" as a custom station, and all my favourite stations then reappeared in the screen opened from the Favourites main menu and from the Favourites button in the Most Used icon.
So again, it seems that a Custom Station has to exist for the TuneIn Favourites to display, even though the station doesn't have to exist. Just populating the Custom Station list with a dummy URL will do.

HI Phil
Creating ANY new station is what restored your favourites. With BluOS 4.10.x a new updated TuneIn API was implemented (the old one was over 10 years old). Favourites are now stored in the TuneIn cloud (with the local player being a back up). Consider making a free registered account at tunein.com if this issue returns after your next power cycle.

Ah, thanks Tony. I'll do that.
