    Hi Peter

    BluOS ignores the compilation tag.

Please ensure all Album Tags match, All Album Artists Tags Match, The files are all in the same folder, the files all use the same artwork file that is embedded or have no album artwork embedded at all and instead use folder.jpg as a separate file. Then Rebuild your index from Settings, Diagnostics.

This is exactly the problem I found: the indexing depends on the physical location of the music files, instead of solely depending on tags.

This is especially poor for albums consisting of multiple CDs, where these cannot be in separate folders CD01, CD02 etc.

You can... provided you populate the CD# tag in your metadata. Most people are too lazy to... why we had to do it this way...

No, I have CD# tags populated on all multiple CDs. Yet the indexing by BluOS is not right for some of those, simply because BluOS improperly handles the tagging.

    Hi Tony

I have ensured all Album Tags and Album Artists Tags match. The files are all in the same folder. I have removed the embedded art work and moved to folder.jpg as a separate file. Then I have used rebuilt your index from Settings, Diagnostics. Unfortunately still the same problem. Oddly it is not consistent some of the tracks from the Compilation does not result in the art work being shown under the artist without the associated music file.
