New items don't appear

Since the last update if I add new items to my Vault 2 they don't appear in 'New' list even if I reindex or even if I rebuild the index. They are listed under Artist correctly, so this is a new glitch. My general impression is that updates are more likely to mess with the Vault than with other players.

  Thanks. Very helpful to know. I regularly have different album artist and artist tags because for classical music that often makes most sense. That may be the problem. I can't imagine I'm alone in tagging in this way. But I guess I can retag and reindex

  Completely agree… I use different artist and album artist tags if for example an artist publishes solo albums as well as albums together with an accompanying band. Therefore retagging is no solution for me, particularly because they broke a perfectly working feature in the latest update, and I don’t see why I should now change my tagging system… I really hope that the dev team will fix this soon 😉
