2FA for bluesound forum
For some time now Bluesound forces me to use a login on google to get access to the forum, due to the fact that I do not possess a smartphone to receive the 2FA code.
First of all this is, in my opinion, not consumer friendly and I certainly do not want to install some obscure app on my non existing phone.
Moreover, I don't think it's any business of google or facebook to know where I do log in.
And I should add that even Apple uses 2FA over e-mail, and nobody is more pranoid.
So, what about giving me the possibility to do 2FA over my e-mail address? ( which is cumbersome enough)
I know this forum has been spammed in the past, but access should remain more or less comfortable.

Hi Alain
Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunatley as 2-factor authentication continues to evolve to combat phishing, spoofing, and AI ever changing exploitation of security flaws we need to keep you and us safe.
The software we use to run this site is designed to not only keep you safe but us as well. Using an ever changing Authenticator, which IS anonymous and encrypted such as iOS Password or Google Authenticator is the safest way to do that. Opening the door to older authentication methods such as e-mail un-does that security.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
