Is a firmware update possible to enable a means to turn off the WIFI and Bluetooth signals when not in use?

  Only one network interface is active at any one time (to stop a network loop / broadcast storm) so using Ethernet disables Wi-Fi.

  You can disable bluetooth by going to Settings/Player/Customize sources/Bluetooth.

  I am not sure if the player deactivates WiFi if connected via ethernet.
