Switch off ethernet port LEDs

I want to turn off the LEDs of the ethernet port at the back of the Bluesound speakers, to get rid of those annoying flashing lights behind the speakers. 

Even relatively cheap ethernet switches, that can be hidden out of side, provide the option to switch off these LEDs; it should definitely be an option for the Bluesound speakers, that are by definition in view.

  Unfortunately, that's not possible. It's a feature that's been asked for multiple times. The solution is to use a small piece of electrical tape to cover the LEDs.

  Those asking for it don't realize it contributes electronic noise.
