Vault 2 can not be detected by external dac

My dac has 2 coaxial inputs , one for cd transport and the other for vault2. The problem is that the dac often cannot recognize / read vault2. When it can read everything works normally and the sound is very good . The problem arises when the dac is turned off and when it is turned on again the dac cannot read both the cd and vault2 . So the coaxial cable must be removed first and plugged in again . But if only vault2 coaxial cable is removed the dac automatically reads the cd transport. When the coaxial cable cd transport is removed only vault2 is left the dac still cannot read it even if it is moved to coax 1 or 2 while the cd transport is still readable on coax 1 or 2 .
