problem with streaming tidal 192/24 to external DAC
BeantwortetHi,
Ive got an N132 and have upgraded to an external DAC so am using the Node as a streaming transport. I set my optical settings in the app to fixed volume, digital passthrough and if I select a 192/24 track on tidal I get a click but then silence. I switched to USB output and the track plays back but my DAC is reporting it as 96khz (as a test I attached my son's wiim to the DAC and also output raw stream and it reports 192khz on the same track)
Ive tried everything I can think if but it won't stream 192 (I don't have any MQA content just want it to play back the frequency and bitrate I expect it to)
Is there anything I can do to sort this or is the only solution a different transport. I don't want to use the internal DAC as ive just spent a small fortune on an external one. if this is a limitation is it likely to be changed by firmware or do I just need to find a different streamer that supports 192?

Thanks for #LivingHiFi -
just as a follow up I did notice that it successfully played a 176.4 kHz track - which seems like it might be upsampled (4 * 44.1 = 176.4) not sure if its a nuance of this particular track.
