Wall mounting - should bracket be screwed into the Soundbar itself ?

I've just bought a pre-loved Soundbar+ - which is great except for the fact that the bracket appears to be screwed into the back of the Soundbar itself.

Is this right ?
It doesn't seem to be correct from the instructions - but I want to be sure before I ask for a return

  You should be able to separate the wall mount from the SOUNDBAR+ itself. Here's the instructions manual if you need to - How to wall mount PULSE SOUNDBAR+.
