Bluesound Node 2i "newbie"

Got hold of a bluesound Node 2i recently and straight away connected it up to my topping E30 II lite DAC and wasn't exactly blown away with the sound. A day later I decided to connect it directly to my amp (Rega brio r) and the sound became another story. So much detail, the sound just opened up with deep bass, precision, i suddenly got that blown away feeling back. How are others enjoying their node 2i?

  I have previously tried a few DACs, like yourself prefer using the inbuilt DAC. Sound great to my ears, saves money and box count.

  Unfortunately all the Brio’s I have had at home hummmmmed and drove me mad.
