    Hi Jappa,

The 5 second delay that you are experiencing might be from your amplifier starting up. If you need support from this, please reach out to us by sending us a support request using the BluOS app.

However, I have forwarded your feedback to our quality assurance and development team for future update consideration.

    Hello Mark,

No. My amplifier is always on (manually). And not on a 'trigger' (which the Node Icon provides).
Also: I was using the Node N132 (without any 'standby' issue) and swapped it with my new Node Icon (without Standby-options, with Standby-issues).

Anyway: this morning I thought: new day, fresh start? Let's try to RESET the Icon, do the setup and see if it changes anything about inputs and Standby-functioning.
Easy, perfect textbook setup from WiFi only. I have had my share of problems to setup a Bluesound device in the past (Powernode, Node N130, Powernode Edge, Pulse M). Today: perfect!
Instead of Optical input from my LG OLED to Icon, I am now using HDMI-ARC.
Computer HDMI goes to LG OLED, which delivers sound through HDMI-ARC to Node Icon. Works perfectly.

Playing music from PC. Pause and after 15 minutes the Icon goes in Standby.
Press Play and after 5 seconds music is heard (missing the first 4 or 5 seconds).
Windows system-sounds will wake Icon from Standby but the sounds are lost (they are usally less then 5 seconds).

    A few thoughts:
    - I can not believe there is NO OPTION for Standby (settings). Every computer has options for system and video-standby. A time-setting is the most basic option, next to Standby ON/OFF.
    - The name 'NODE' has a special, relevant meaning, right? How can Node Icon be a 'Node'? It disrupts everything connected to it after 15 minutes of 'silence'.
    - I will always loose 4 or 5 seconds of sound when the Icon comes out of standby (switching to TV or continu/start Playback music from computer).
    - Windows systemsounds will be lost. (If 2 systemsounds are produced within 15 minutes, okay, then I may hear one systemsound...)

Saving Energy is great! But having NO CONTROL over it?
And having to learn how to 'properly' handle the Node Icon to play music? First turn ON the Icon, next start playing the music? I am not good at learning tricks and workarounds... Maybe it's my age (almost 70) :)

    Just an idea
Maybe the BluOS team can make some creative use of the 'Sleep Timer' and make a 'Standby Timer'?
