HUM in speakers when connecting Node Icon using XLR - what is the Node Icon XLR pinout?
BeantwortetThis is disappointing as previous Bluesound Node models have been flawless in use
I get HUM in the speakers when connecting Node Icon using XLR
Acoustic Energy Active AE1 speakers pinout
1 ground
2 + input
3 - input
XLR cables are Benchmark Studio & Stage Digital XLR cables (digital or analog)
What is the pintout for the Bluesound Node Icon ?
Does the pinout of the Bluesound Node Icon match the AE1 speaker input?

I don’t have an ICON but understand it uses a floating ground on XLR, try grounding the ICON to the speaker by adding a phono lead between them. Use one of the phono analogue outs on the ICON to an analogue in on the speaker.
Alternatively just use any other output rather than XLR.

Hi Seppi,
The RCA out connected lowers the volume of the hum. But the hum is still there. So that does not solve the hum issue.

If the speakers have an optical input then that would be the best as then both devices are electrically isolated. If you are still having issue then in the BluOS App please select Settings, Send Support Request, so the Bluesound Support Crew can review the log file and take a closer look.
