NODE 2 (N130) SPDIF out ticking/clicking noise
BeantwortetWhen outputting SPDIF audio data to my external DAC and when HDMI ARC auto sense or SPDIF auto sense is turned ON, a high pitched clicking/ticking noise can be heard on the audio output. When HDMI ARC Auto sense or SPDIF auto sense it turned off, the noise disappears. Turning the audio clock trimming on or off did not resolve my issue. Please fix this in an upcoming update! BlueOS firmware version: 4.8.17

Hi Marijin,

I'm also asking for a response from technical support regarding this matter.
I own an audio and video installation company that uses Blusound in multiroom systems and high-end audio walls.
After recent updates, the clicking noise in the speakers is still clearly audible. This problem didn't exist before the firmware update introducing Dirac!
Your problematic updates are causing us to lose customers, and we're seriously considering offering other multiroom systems to our customers.
The problem only affects the system with HDMI autosense enabled. When we disable autosense, the crackling noise disappears. People have reported this problem numerous times in several threads on this forum over the past few months, but despite several updates, you haven't done anything about it. Giving your customers the choice of audible clicking noise or non-functioning autosense doesn't reflect well on the quality of your technical support.
The problem occurs with every Blusound Node we've used with a coaxial/optical digital output.
