I am very happy with the Bluesound Node in my main system, and would like to set up a small, simple system for my wife. What exactly do I need to stream wirelessly, and what is the exact procedure?

1 - Can a Bluesound Node be used with any of the Bluesound speakers, ( Pulse, Pulse Mini, Pulse M, and the Pulse Flex) without an additional amplifier?

That is, just using the speaker’s built in amp?

2 - If so, is the volume only controlled via the Bluesound app?

3 - Other than the Pulse Flex, can the remaining speakers connect via my home network [WiFi) as well as Bluetooth?

4 - What controls do the speakers have?

  1. absolutely, you can add additional BluOS enabled devices from Bluesound or other manufacturers. Think of the Bluesound speakers as having a NODE, Amplifier and speaker(s) all in one box.

  2. Volume can be controlled via the App, using the Bluesound RC1 remote (recommended for easy use) or on the Bluesound device itself.

  3. All have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Ethernet, only exception is the VAULT which need an Ethernet connection.

  4. On device controls are slightly different from each other, have a look at Bluesound.com to compare but again I suggest the RC1 remote as this gives you presets, volume, mute and skip forward / back.
