Digital output (coax out) format?
BeantwortetIn what format does the Node 132 output a digital signal? For the incoming signal, I can select pass-through or PCM, but does Node still process this from now on, changing the format in the digital output, e.g. coax out is always PCM or the original what the source gives?
Does the same also apply internally to playing the signal produced by Spotify or changing it to e.g. PCM if this is the Node's standard output format for digital?

When using Digital Out via COAX or TOSLink (Optical), no digital signal processing occurs. The output to the external DAC is what the input from the source is.

Thanks for the update. I was thinking this same but wasn't sure.
I have understand that Genelec's understand only 2.0 PCM but now with passthrough this is still working fine etc. But source is 5.1 sound but not PCM. Would be nice to see in app what is format which system get in and out.

I can see that in this article.
https://support1.bluesound.com/hc/en-us/articles/115006191908-Using-Digital-Passthrough-with-Bluesound-PlayersWhen the Bluesound Player is connected to an external DAC via digital outputs, non-MQA content is bypassed and not processed by the Bluesound Player's internal DAC by default - this setting cannot be modified.
Little bit hidden information.
Edit. There is mentioned these two options
- Toggle to enable Output level fixed.
- Toggle to enable Digital Passthrough.
But even those are not enabled, still digital out is not processed?
