BluOS 4.8.17, sound improvement?

I have a NAD M10 V2 and I don't know if I am crazy but since the last upgrade to 4.8.17 I find that the sound with Dirac has really improved in clarity, spatial placement etc. Is there really something in what was pushed in the update that could have had this beneficial effect?

  Hi Jean,

  Our updates don’t alter the way the audio is processed, so there shouldn’t be any changes in that regard. However, it’s wonderful to hear that you noticed an improvement in your listening experience after upgrading to the latest BluOS firmware.

  Thanks. What about the QRONO part, is it not now applied to the decoding from the DAC?

  Any answer on my question @Mark T? Maybe I should have written if QRONO is now implicated (filter?) in the conversion by the DAC? If so, MQA labs are saying that it is supposed to improve the sound.
