That's the idea, should not be hard to implement

Quite the opposite. The Now playing screen is an assembly of various API query returns based on a graphic inlay design.

There is no Web Player. This is not on the horizon. Thanks for understanding.

Another user here, yes I would love this. There is already a simple web server running on BluOS hardware so all I need is a static now playing page that gets refreshed when the Music changes. A web browser could then be opened on pretty much any hardware such as TV’s or really old tablets.

This response - to a most excellent idea - leaves me flabbergasted. This idea is too good to be pooh-poohed by someone who doesn't appear to be receptive to good ideas from the community.

There are "API query returns"? Oh Noes! (I'm pretty damn sure that's what coding is all about)

For bonus points, think of it as a controller app with most features removed.

I have done the "now playing" in Excel with API calls. This can be easily modified with minimal VBA knowledge. Anybody interested? I am happy to share the Excel application.
