That's the idea, should not be hard to implement

Quite the opposite. The Now playing screen is an assembly of various API query returns based on a graphic inlay design.

There is no Web Player. This is not on the horizon. Thanks for understanding.

    Hi-Res

Another user here, yes I would love this. There is already a simple web server running on BluOS hardware so all I need is a static now playing page that gets refreshed when the Music changes. A web browser could then be opened on pretty much any hardware such as TV’s or really old tablets.

This response - to a most excellent idea - leaves me flabbergasted. This idea is too good to be pooh-poohed by someone who doesn't appear to be receptive to good ideas from the community.

There are "API query returns"? Oh Noes! (I'm pretty damn sure that's what coding is all about)

For bonus points, think of it as a controller app with most features removed.

I have done the "now playing" in Excel with API calls. This can be easily modified with minimal VBA knowledge. Anybody interested? I am happy to share the Excel application.

WiiM have managed this with "WiiM Home TV". So can't be that hard...

Yes I agree. As an owner of both WiiM and Bluesound devices, the WiiM Home TV app has been a game changer for me as I use it quite often. Bluesound seems to be stubborn and slow when it comes to implementing new features that their competition already has(took forever for Qobuz connect to be added, and people have been asking for a now playing screen option for almost a year). The responses always seem very dismissive when asked about new features as well. Very disappointing

The API is partly broken right now, but I'm on it with Bluesound support to fix the problem. When it's working again, I will give a download link here
