Asus laptops cannot 'see' the Bluesound Vault 2i in network

Hi, My Vault died a few months back, it cannot load discs now. I bought a new one and set it up. I have a new Asus laptop Vivo book. The Asus does not show the Vault in network devices when I click on Network. However an old Dell computer shows the Vault instantly and I can access the internal drive via this laptop. I have the Vault connected via Bluetooth using the Add Device in Windows. I have tried to add or access the Vault via File Explorer and Edge. Both give cannot access this file messages. The Bluesound advice on adding the device via File Explorer is out of date as the Win 11 page has changed, I tried all manner of inputting the IP address. Nothing. Has anyone had this problem with an Asus laptop? I have two and BOTH fail to find the Vault. Anyone? Settings? A hidden setting? The BS app on both laptops can access and play music and see the players, I have two Pulse players in other rooms. It is defeating me. I have used computers for 30 years. How has the Dell managed to show the Vault? I have trolled the settings in that device an cannot see how I set it up over six years ago.

Not the same, but similar issue, maybe these are related.
Trying to reach a share on a HDD connected to my router, resulting in an error like network path not found, instead of showing the window to provide the credentials for the share.
Coincidentally, this happened on an Asus laptop as well, but I believe the issue is caused by Windows 11 24H2 rather than Asus: did not happen on Asus running 23H2 and I can reproduce the same on HP laptop running 24H2.
Solution: add the credentials to Windows through the Credential Manager (control panel). Did this for both the IP as well as device name. After adding the credentials access is flawless.

Hi, the shop I bought the Asus from spent an hour on remote access to find the reason. I believe it was in SMB uncheck Sign In Required. The Vault can now be seen by this laptop.
