BlusOs can't load with Node Icon after being idle
BeantwortetThe app constantly stops working after some period of idle time. Only solution is delete the app and restart the player. I'm on the latest firmware (updated today).
Did not have this problem with old Node unit

Hi Syed
This is often a routing issue on your home network. Please reboot your router, wait 5 minutes, reboot the Players, wait 5 more minutes then relaunch the App.
If problems persist or return, please email support@bluesound.com so our Support Crew can help troubleshoot further...

You could also try to make ip address reservations in your router for the Icon and every controller app you use. This could make communications over the network more stable.

i can’t seem to do that with my netgear orbi, i didn’t have any of these issues with my previous bluesound node. i’m also not the only one having this issue, the node icon almost feels as if it’s bricked at this point.
will a wired connection help?

You didn't specify the model of your router, but I had a look at the manual of the Orbi ax5400 and setting a reserved ip address seems very straigthforward. If you cannot find the right procedure I'm sure the support@bluesound.com people will gladly help.
I also doubt a wired connection will do much good as the addresses might still change.
