Roon sets up Bluesound NODE NANO connectivity as AirPlay2 only

Hello community.

I am sorry to bother but I picked up the new Blusound NODE NANO today. When I first set it up and for the first few hours, Roon recognized the device and was getting bit perfect playback.

Next I decided to setup BluOS desktop controller. After setup, I noticed the NANO had performed an update. When I went back to Roon, I noticed the NANO was now setup for playback via AirPlay 2 only.

The NANO just has power, ethernet and an optical cable for output to an RME ADI-2 FS. I started tinkering with BluOS and have specified a fixed output level and set digital passthrough to ON. I have a local library + Qobuz. Rebooting the ROCK & NANO has had no effect. Still AirPlay2 only.

The remaining hardware I am using:

1. Mac mini
2. ROCK (Early Access)
