Problems with Spotify Connect on Bluesound Node N130
Music via Spotify Connect gets muted intermittently from time to time, every few seconds for like five seconds. The problem disappears when I scroll back for a few seconds, but comes back - sometimes I can listen for days without problems, sometimes the problem occurs every few minutes. When this occurs, the song position display jumps back in the BluOS player, but not so in the Spotify player.
What’s interesting is the fact that the data transfer to the Node falls to about 100 kb/s, whereas normally it dances around 300 to 400. It seems that either the Node doesn’t buffer anything or Spotify doesn’t send enough data to buffer. During the drop outs and the lowered transfer rate of about 100 kb/s the connection itself remains absolutely steady.

Issues like this are often related to the local network. As a fist step reboot your Router and when it’s been up and running for five minutes then using the BluOS App reboot your NODE.
If you are still having issues and are using Wi-Fi have a look at the signal strength (again in the BluOS app) https://support.bluos.net/hc/en-us/articles/360048507294-What-should-my-Wireless-Signal-Strength-be-for-best-performance
If this does not help in the BluOS App please select Settings, Send Support Request, so the Bluesound Support Crew can review the log file and take a closer look.

Hi Seppi,
Thanks for your answer! I have done all that, and support said it can *only* be a network or Spotify issue, which I don't believe.

Can you try playing from Paradise Radio FLAC streams and see if you get the same issue.

That's what the support representative suggested. The problem is that the error occurs very intermittently and I don't listen to Paradise Radio at all ... But I will try at a later point. It seems to me that this is a pure Spotify Connect problem, though ...
