    Hi Tony,
    Am I getting back in touch with tech support? Currently I have been handed over to warranty claims (but my warranty is expired).

    Is it possible to try downgrading to the previous firmware that worked?

    No it will not. I forwarded you to support to confirm that you have a failed power supply. Please continue to work with them to provide options.

    Hi Tony,
    Thanks for your response. I don’t think it is a power supply issue. The firmware update to 4.8.7 failed on my Pulse 2, and the player is now stuck in an “update mode” or “failed update” mode.
    The computer sees my player, but it can’t get it to do anything other than try the update again (which fails every time now.)
