NAD 3050/BluOS: USB Storage Losing Index
BeantwortetI'm not sure if this is a limitation: the USB storage attached to BluOS on a NAD 3050 loses any reference to previous indices if the drive is disconnected, or the NAD is in 'deep sleep' mode or isolated from the mains. It doesn't take too long to reindex - maybe 20 minutes - but it is a bit of a nuisance.
Also, the setup sequence doesn't seem to follow the BluOS guide - for example, there's no Share USB Drive pop-up that I've seen - I'd like to give that a try.
Many thanks, Rob

You may need to manually enable server mode (as in the support doc you linked). Currently server mode is disabled and the USB drive is treated as a removable drive hence the index is lost each time you unplug it.
If you continue to have problems please email NAD Support regarding your NAD 3050 support@nadelectronics.com
