All 4 Bluesound devices disappear at the same time from the app, never to return
BeantwortetI have 2 pulse flexes 1 Vault 2 and 1 Vault 2i.. Yetserday all the devices disappeared from the app (anroid or widows) never to return. I have tried everything: restarting the router, the vaults, disconnecting each device. I have now 1 pulse flex which is in everlasting set up mode and when I try to set up the device it will not connect with the network. It looks like my router will not work anymore with the bluesound devices. They were connected for years......Now I am not able to listen to music anymore. What is wrong?

Sounds like either a firmware update or some configuration on your Router has changed.
I would move a Flex close to the Router, connect an Ethernet lead and power it on, the. Using a computer with the BluOS App which is also using Ethernet to see if that works.

Hi Seppi, 3 of my 4 BlueSound devices are already connected through a cable and when I also connect the only BlueSound which is connected thorugh wifi, it also does not appear in the app. It is no problem with the connection. My 2 Vaults are visible in windows explorer and when you type the IP adress in chrome you also get the basic menu from the bluesound device. So there is a connection, they also appear in my router connected devices. I have also tried another router but there the problem also persists. I think that something triggered a safety protocol in my BlueSound devices which I am not able to switch off. I have also contacted the BlueSound team but they have not come up with a sollution yet. Untill they do, I am stuck with no music at all

Continue working with support is your best bet, there is no such thing as a “safety protocol” in Bluesound hardware so it must be something else causing the issue.
By any chance are you running pfsense, pihole or Wi-Fi pods such as Plume. These can all block network traffic.
Check your router settings to ensure Multicast (mDNS) traffic is allowed. Also see if there is a setting that says IGMP Snooping or IGM Proxy... turn it on.
Do you have any VPN’s configured? If yes try turning them off.

The strange thing is, I have used the devices for years now. I have not changed anything with my router and the devices disappeared all at the same time while listening to music from one of the Vaults. No sign of life since that moment on my apps...And when I turn one of my Vaults on, it stays online for just a few minutes and then it restarts, after a while the led turns blue and then after a few minutes the whole cycle starts again. And this happens to all my devices.

That is why I think that there is someting going on with the software in my devices: there is something that is changed simultaneously with all my devices. I am pretty desperate to get it working again.
