Constantly disappearing Node and band splitting
BeantwortetI have a Node and a Powernode and in the past few months I’ve had nothing but problems having the iOS app find my players. I’ve been able to connect the Powernode with Ethernet and it seems to be solid now but the Node disappears all the time. The strange part is that the app sees another Bluesound player in the Diagnostics tab of the app when using the Ethernet connected Powernode but I can’t select it to play from the Players tab in the app. I called my internet service provider because I read something about band spanning on the Bluesound website faq and this seems to be the problem. The problem is that my ISP doesn’t allow the bands to be split, but I’m able to temporarily force my iPhone to the 2.4 ghz band using something called IoT on-boarding mode and the Node shows up right away.
So it seems as though there’s an issue with either the Bluesound hardware or software that can’t maintain a constant band selection to maintain connection all the time. Is there a fix for this?

Yes. I suspect this is the problem but my ISP has locked this setting and won’t allow users to change it.
