Connecting headphones to a Vault 2.

I noticed that there is a headphone jack on the front of my Vault 2. I connected my headphones but no sound comes out. My BlueSound is connected via a coax optical cable to my amp but my particular amp (Anthem STR) has no headphone jack. I am just curious whether the sounds coming from a BlueSound headphone connection sounds better than the little headphone amp I bought.

  Another forum user here.

  The Vault 2i has a 3.5 mm headphone out jack I assume the Vault 2 does as well.

  I know. I tried it and there was no sound. Do I have to disconnect the Coax out?

  I got it working. Looks like I don’t need a headphone amp. I just plugged my headphones directly into the BlueSound Vault 2. I control the volume with my iPhone’s volume button. My iPhone is running Tidal and connecting to the Vault 2 by Tidal connect.
