Bug: switching to external source does not reset progress bar
BeantwortetApp version 4.6.0 and before:
If there is a track from the library running and you switch to an external source (or a radio station), the progress bar keeps its current playing position. But if you return to the playlist and reactivate the last played track, you will not continue where you left off, but the track restarts from the beginning. So it makes no sense to keep the progress bar position when switching to an external source (or radio station), instead the progress bar should reset.

This is not a bug. When you switch the source from streaming to an external source, the audio buffer is flushed to accommodate this. There is no mechanism to restart the song mid-track. Doing so can also damage speakers in some cases.
Thanks for understanding

I totally agree, it makes no sense at all. The progress bar shouldn't even be there when switching to an external source.

@Tony:
Sorry to say that, but you are wrong: if I reposition the play position while playing a track, the system is able to restart the song mid-track or at any position where I point my finger to. Please confirm: is there a risk that this action is risky and can cause damage?Anyway, I don't want to restart the track when switching between library tracks and external sources, and I support what Bjørn wrote: the progress bar shouldn't even be there when switching to an external source.
