No player found but I can see it on the brower with its IP address

I am setting up a new NAD C 368 BluOS-2i amp.  I got the BluOS setup to the point where I can see it on my browser and I can bring up the setup menu using its IP address.  The problem I got the BluOS app cannot find the player.  This is both on the Windows version as well as the Andriod version.  So it is on the WIFI network why can it not be found by the app?  What can I do?  The Bluetooth can also connect to the amp.
