Vault 2 and ATC CDA2 preamp sample rate switching issue.

Hi, I currently have a Vault 2 connected to an ATC CDA2 Mk2 via co-axial cable powering a pair of ATC SCM40A speakers. 

It's a fine combination that sounds excellent, but when I have a random playlist running I notice a burst of digital noise whenever the sample rate of the track changes to higher resolution tracks from CD FLAC rips or MP3 tracks. It doesn't seem to happen going from an HR track to any other sample rate, just when anything above 44.1Khz comes up.

There are no issues sequencing tracks of the same rates or filetypes, and the issue doesn't occur when connecting via analogue. 

I've tried the settings in the Audio menu to no success.

Any ideas?

  Thanks for the reply.

  Unfortunately I've tried those avenues. I did wonder if it was "just one of those things".

  I prefer the sound of the ATC DAC to the Vault.
