    Hi Gurb,

Re Q1 and DLBC, I would _guess_ no, since the Icon only has one sub out, whereas M10 has dual sub out and M66 has quadruple sub out. Also, when reading the specs, only M10 and M66 mention DLBC; "Dirac Live with optional Dirac Live Bass Control*" and "Dirac Live Bass Control" respectively.

Will the icon work as a full preamp, straight to my nad c298?

    Hi KriHad,

    Thank you for your reply.
On the website of Dirac regarding DLBC (Dirac Live Bass Control) the following is mentioned:
Whether a system is using a single subwoofer or multiple subwoofers in a complex room, Dirac Live Bass Control ensures that every listening experience is optimized like never before.
So I think having multiple sub outs is not a criterium for DLBC.
Maybe the specs of the Icon are not as definitive as the M66 and M10 V3. The Bluesound website states that Dirac is available via a future software upgrade.

    Best regards, Gurb

    Hi Jedi77,

yes, in that case even with XLR (as opposed to the new Node Classic and the new Node Nano).

    Hi KriHad,

I cannot wait, hence my questions ;-)
Is there anyone from the Bluesound team (Tony W.?) who can provide clarity?

It's not quite November yet, is it? :-)

I know, I don't know which would be better the nad c658 pre amp streamer or the icon?

Jedi77, I think the Icon has better DAC’s in a dual mono config. I like the design of the Icon (aluminium chassis and display) over the C658. However the C658 has more connections.

I'd bet all my money on the Icon. It's about 5 years newer. And looks way cooler. :)

Totally agree, besides the Icon is less expensive (about half the money)..
