UPDATED OFFICIAL COMMENT
Hi All - just wanted to update everyone. On May 27th I posted; In speaking with Andrew this morning, we are expecting to deliver Qobuz Connect on over 90 different BluOS Devices covering 7 different industry brands, all certified by Qobuz, within about 90-120 days.
I am very pleased to share with you that we are on track. We are planning to release BluOS 4.12.x on Tuesday, September 23rd, which will include Qobuz Connect. Start looking for the upgrade prompt mid-Tuesday morning Eastern Canadian Time (+5 GMT).

Quote from the article (bold marking is from the article):
We don't yet have a release date, as that also depends on external factors such as the integration of each manufacturer, but the project is moving forward. We invite you to encourage your favorite supplier to contact us and develop Connect together!

At Qobuz's invitation and as a Qobuz subscriber I encourage Bluesound to provide Qobuz with the necessary assistance to make Qobuz Connect work with Bluesound devices.

Qobuz is a valued partner and we await learning about the details of the connect model from them. Once we have assessed the technical documents then we can be in a position to better respond.
2 -
Thanks Andrew for your answer ! Let's hope it will happen rapidly...
3 -
Nothing is "rapid" in Connect models lol, it is something you need to be extra careful with. Be assured it will get the attention it deserves.

I understand it. Better to have a well implemented function than frustrations. Still the wait has been long !

+1 on prioritising Qobuz Connect please! The wait from Qobuz has been looooong. Let's hope things can accelerate from here. IMHO it would make a lot users happy.

Hmm, ok we'll keep our eyes open on what the new service has to offer. Qobuz is a pretty mature, polished service by now. I was a bit surprised when I saw the Lenbrook & HDTracks announcement. Feels like a pretty competitive and crowded market already. Hope they have a good plan.
EDIT: As a BluOS/Bluesound/NAD ecosystem user, I don't feel like I am lacking choice in streaming services. I'd like to see more frequent BluOS updates and improvements. Same for hardware. Pulse, Mini, and Flex are still on 2i generations.

Any news about if and if yes, about the release date of Qobuz Bluesound Connect?
2 -
Well, I wouldn't go as far as to say "no news". They are in beta and clearly ready for integration work. They don't have to go to general release for that work to at least commence.

Hi. I sent this question already a year ago. At that time it should have been realized end of 23? Do you have now all info from Qobuz to realize it? waiting desperately for it. regards Rupert

Should have been realized by end of 23? Qobuz has yet to give us an actual SDK to look at, they have not launched this yet.

I also would highly appreciate this implementation, thanks for all the combined efforts!

@Andrew H. Any update on this?

Yes, an update would be welcomed!

I'm also looking forward to Qobuz Connect! I'd love to hear what the status is for BluOS. Using a Powernode N330 here myself. I signed up for beta testing at Qobuz, and I have the beta Android Qobuz app. I also just read that WiiM and HEOS users have started the Qobuz Connect beta. Hopefully, we get to try it soon on BluOS. 😊

Any news for qobuz connect beta for bluesound products?
3 -
Still no news, it start to be long… It would be nice to know if Qobuz is now in touch with BluOS developers. Or if we, as users of Qobuz and BluOS can put some pressure on Qobuz. I just posted on their forum too. I am willing to be beta tester if it can accelerate things…

I asked Bluesound for an update on Qobuz Connect, but my post was closed, and they pointed me to this thread.
I also reached out to Qobuz, and they told me that Bluesound has had the SDK for months. But hasn’t joined the beta program? According to them, it seems the delay is on the BluOS side, not Qobuz.
At the same time, it’s clear that the Qobuz Connect beta has limited capacity, with new testers being added gradually as server load allows.
Would be great to hear an update from Bluesound on this, as the last official comment was 6 months ago.

Yes, update please. This has been a ping-pong game between Bluesound and Qobuz for months, but without any news.

Hi All
In speaking with Andrew H., there is a lot of work in front of the development team. This has been scheduled but will not come to products until much later in the year
4 -
Thanks Tony for the update. Much appreciated, and good to know that something is happening, even if I was hoping for an earlier date.

Glad to hear it is at least in the works. Qobuz works well within the BluOs App itself, but I would prefer to have quick/easy access to all the Qobuz liner notes etc. from the native app more often than not. But I do agree with the general Bluesound philosophy that adding external "connect" type features should only be done once it can be done in a way that is equally stable and good sounding as the BluOS App route.

My Node Icon needs the Qobuz Connect. Please.

Same here, departed waiter for Qobuz connect...

Another strong vote of encouragement for Bluesound to implement Qobuz Connect -- please!

Hey folks, thanks for the updates and the requests. It will be added, we have a lot in play right now but it will be worked on at a point later on

Andrew H.
You had this information for a long time and all other brands been on beta test since Christmas. Feels like you dont appreciate your customers. I´m disappointed and leaving Bluesound now probably for Eversolo.
//Pehr19 -
Hi Andrew,
Thanks from commenting here, but I have to agree with Pehr that it is very disappointing. Bluesound claims to care about having the best sound quality possible and we all know that Qobuz is one of the, if not the, best sounding streaming service.
Do we understand properly that nothing has been moving forward? Is it still planed for "later in the year" as we heard two months ago? I am really tired of companies promising features and not delivering. I was considering acquiring a new streamer with a screen and was thrilled to see the new Node products, but as others, Eversolo might very well be my next move. And I will have a hard time to recommend Bluesound to friends...20
