blue sound powernode solid red light

my power node has been shutting down after playing at not high sound volume the unit is very warm. I disconnected power cord for a day. Today I reconnected the unit and played  it at a low volume , the sold red light came back after a few minutes and unit continued to play for 15 to twenty minutes then it cut out again , it did not feel overly warm
