'Lost Connection' and very slow play start since player update last week
Hey,
Running a Node X grouped with a Pulse M with no problem until the Player update in early June.
Since then, opening the Bluos app on Android shows 'Looking for players' for a few seconds, then 'Lost Connection' screen with my players listed. Once I click on one of them, it re-establishes the group and settings. This happens every time I open it - even after closing the app and reopening it since connection was re-established.
The real problem, though, is that now when I use Spotify connect, any input takes 10-30 seconds to respond. The first time I try to play something, nothing happens for up to 30 seconds, then the next track starts playing (not the one I selected). Then, if I select another track, it takes 10-15 seconds for that to begin playing. Likewise if I pause. Also, while playing through spotify, after the first song finishes the connection to spotify is lost - music keeps playing, but I have no control over it - either through Spotify or Bluos app. If I force close the apps on my phone and restart, it usually finds the connection again after 10-30 seconds. Otherwise, I have to turn off the player at the wall.
On the advice of the dealer I have rebooted my wifi router and reset the Node X (the Node X and Pulse have been power cycled several times now).
Any other ideas? To be clear, everything was running fine over the six months since purchase, until the recent player update.
Cheers,
Fraser
