adding network shares doesnt work

I have been unable to add my itunes account to Bluos. Spotify works fine and Amazon Rimes (although why bother now!). It appears you need to be a reasonable PC techy to achieve this as the instructions seem technobable to me - I wish they would tell us this before I bought 4 iflex's speakers and spent so much money on what is a good product?

  I got it to work by using the  ip address. I looked up my computer IP in my router and then in network shares used \\computer ip\Music, where Music is my shared folder.
