I am waiting for the same along with SoundCloud support, in the meantime a decent workaround is to use a chromecast/google Tv device and connect it to your blusound speaker's optical input (In my case i was lucky and have a tv right above I use to cast to and using it's optical output). From here you just cast from YouTube music (or any app really) and have the benefit of the best possible sound from that service and still can control everything from your phone/device. Plus by not using bluetooth, you get the added benefit of notifications etc. still hitting your device and doesn't interrupt your music. The one drawback is you need to switch back to bluOs app to control volume.

Yes, this seems a bizarre omission, I couldn't believe it when I bought a NAD M33 with bluOS and YouTube Music not in the list! Is it Google blocking this, or BluOS? Does anybody know the reasons?

This is been asked for over a year now with no BlueOS support! Since YouTube Music is my goto I will be switching to a Sonos Port, (who does support YouTube streaming services very nicely). I been waiting long enought for a solution. BlueSound ovbiously doesn't want to pay royalties on another service when they have Tidal.

Just for the record, I also want to have Youtube Music support! It comes with my Youtube premium subscription and the omission of YT Music support holds me down to buy extra Bluesound devices.

July 2025, What's the latest on this customer request to have native YouTube Music connectivity?

A year later we're still in the same situation. What's the reason it hasn't been implemented yet? There are many requests about this, this isn't the only thread, some are from 3 years ago. It would be good to give customers an answer. If you're not going to implement YT Music, at least give a reason and say it openly.

Just dumped three blue sound nodes for 5 xiim pro plus’.YT music and the interface is so much better than blue sound node.
