Bluesound node 3 with external DAC via USB

Dear all, I would like to ask a fast question. I would like to buy the Bluesound Node 3 and use it as a streamer. I would like to connect it to an external DAC, the Marantz HD-DAC1. This DAC has some sentimental value to me, and I would not like to get rid of it. I have read that the Bluesound Node 3 counts with an USB digital output that could be plugged into my DAC. I would like to ask you if there may be any incompatibility between these two devices when using the USB port. As i have mentioned, the DAC has some sentimental value to me (despite knowing that there are other options in the market). Thank you very much.

  thank you for your fast response. I naively thought that the USB input in my Marantz DAC would accept any source. 
  
  I think that I will ask the staff at my shop if they allow me to test it before the purchase. In case it does not, I guess I can use the coaxial connection, right?
