Maintain playlists through reindexing USB-attached SSD

Using latest versions of BluOS on N130 Node and both MacOS and iOS controllers. All music is stored on USB-attached SSD.

 

Have created several playlists visible under Home, BluOS Playlists. After removing, replacing and reindexing SSD, playlist titles are (mostly) visible but contain no songs! Does reindexing automatically destroy playlists and, if so, how to avoid this?

  Thanks, but not sure there’s help in that article.

  1. Article focuses on backing up playlists to USB stick. How could that be done if USB port has SSD with all music (and playlists?) attached?

  Q2. What does “This backup will not retain playlists from Music Services or connected libraries” in the article mean? Is USB-attached SSD a “connected” library?

  Q3. Article says, “Prerequisite: The USB drive should be formatted to NTFS or FAT32 to be recognized by BluOS for this backup.” I have had SSD formatted as EXFAT. Is EXFAT (fitting for large-capacity drives) supported or not?
