Using a high bandwidth sub with the Edge

Dear All, I currently have my Edge connected to Neat Petite 3 speakers and a wharfdale sub connected to the sub output. I'm considering changing my speaker set up to Lyngdorf MH3 speakers with a Lyngdorf BW3 sub. The question is this: the BW3 is a high bandwidth sub (plays up to 800HZ), so if connected via the Edge sub out would I be able to use the entire frequency range of the BW3, the edge software being set to manage frequencies up to 200Hz only? If not, is there a different way of connecting the BW3 (the manual specifically states not to use a high level connection) Any input welcome!
